Kaleo Foundation: Partnering to Spread Love One Loaf at a Time
At the Kaleo Foundation, we believe in the power of generosity to bring hope, comfort, and a reminder that no one is forgotten. Recently, we had the incredible privilege of facilitating a donation that extended the reach of PB & Jesus further than ever before, touching the lives of countless individuals in need.
Through this initiative, we were able to provide an astonishing 15,000 snacks, 2,000 drinks, and 2,000 loaves of bread with the organization Here To Serve. Check them out here: https://www.h2sok.com/
A Ripple Effect of Generosity
A portion of this donation made its way to a church in Pauls Valley, which took the initiative to distribute bread and snacks to “blessing boxes” in Blanchard. The remaining items were shared with families and individuals in Pauls Valley.
In Oklahoma City, another church that serves meals to the homeless once a month received a substantial portion of the donation. With these additional resources, they were able to provide nourishment and relief to those experiencing hardship on the city streets.
One of the most exciting outcomes was how this contribution directly benefited PB & Jesus. Because of this donation, they were able to stock their shelves with essential supplies, ensuring that for the next few weeks, they wouldn’t need to purchase drinks, bread, or snacks. This allows them to focus even more on delivering food and care to those who rely on them.
Serving Families in Need
Beyond the usual outreach efforts, PB & Jesus prepared over 200 full-size grocery bags filled with food, distributing 130 of them to an apartment complex in Moore. Since March 2022, this community has been a core focus of their mission, and on this special occasion, residents were overwhelmed with gratitude as they received not only the grocery bags but also 500 additional loaves of bread.
Furthermore, the outreach extended by sharing over 70 more bags of food and several hundred loaves of bread with a partner church, continuing the commitment to supporting families who struggle with food insecurity.
